Follow the MS44‑305‑004‑01 and PERC guidance: perform a bubble test before each use by applying leak‑detection fluid or a mixture of thick soapy water to the regulator, hose, tank valve and connections; slowly open the cylinder valve and watch for steady bubbles; do not use an open flame. If bubbles appear, tighten connections and retest; if you cannot stop the leak, close the cylinder valve, disconnect and call qualified service. Explicitly prohibit flame checks.
